Our new pup, Bourbon!!

The newest addition to our family...Miss Bourbon! We ended up with her instead of the original two that we were choosing from just because she seemed like a better fit for us. She is still adjusting to her new home and her new family. It'll take her some time since she went from a puppy mill to her cell at the prision where she was trained and now to a house and more people. There are a ton of things here that she has never seen before so she is a little nervous but is warming up just fine. She lived in a cell with two offenders and one other dog since the day they rescued her. She is very well behaved - more so when she is on the leash. She seems to like it best upstairs, in front of our huge mirror and laying on top of the clothes that are on the floor...She better use the bed I got her someday...LOL. She's spoiled already and she knows it!

Big Boy Logan

Logan got brave the other day and wanted to try out Colton's big boy bike...So, he grabbed the helmet, since he watches the other boys put theirs on...and then stood and waited by the bike for me to lift him up and push him around...even though he was just happy to sit on it as you can see.

Logan's preschool Halloween party was today and I got to go with him! They had each of their classrooms set up for different activites. We started with the "snack room" where they gave us baggies with all the ingredients to make "spiders"...It was ritz crackers, cream cheese, pretzels and chocolate chips...We almost made a spider...Someone was eatting the spiders legs and eyes faster than I could make it!! Next, we went to the "craft room" and Logan and I made a ghost decoration, a bat and a picture frame...This was about the time that the lil dragon didn't want his costume on anymore...Ugh! So, off we go to the next room which was a "messy room" - there were water tables filled with halloween things, another water table that had spaghetti noodles in it, another bucket was full of those squishy soap bubbles...they had a bunch of hands on (aka MESSY) things for the kids to touch and squish...Last, we headed off to their "pumpkin patch" where the kids were able to hunt for mini pumpkins and they got to take 'em home. I had a really fun morning with Logan!!

Logan loves him some Top Ramen

Just a little bit of Top Ramen noodle fun today at lunch!!

Anderson Farms

Today I took Logana to check out Anderson Farm! Here is Logan and his buddy, Mathew at the enterance...We waited in a reallllly long line...

Me and Logan in the "uncovered" wagon...lol

My best friend, Liz and her son - Mathew!

There is a GOAT up on top of this contraption...!!

Mommy and baby of the corn...LOL

The corn maze was crazy...and really cool.

And, we all got lost...good thing they have these platforms so we could see where we were!

And, Logan...Sorta in La La land...taking in all the corn =)

On top of the hay bale maze...He wanted to jump from bale to bale like the other kids...but, I wouldn't let him try that!

On the wagon ride up to the pumpkin patch and to feed the cows...

Play'n on the "Trike Track"

And, inside the neatest wooden train ever!! He had such a great day and not one "huge" tantrum...lol

And off they go...

These are my two trouble makers...Out and about looking for trouble! We were finally able to go outside and play yesterday since the weather was so nice! Logan loves riding in the jeep with whoever will drive him and he loves riding the 4-wheeler, but is still learning how to steer it!

More progress has been made on the house...

FINALLY COMPLETE! Logan's "Hot Rod and Muscle Car" room! Now, all that is left is wall decorations - which will be framed pictures of his art work from preschool and he'll also have a family and friends "memory wall"

My bathroom (aka the guest bathroom) is finally finished too! Next on my list for this room is matching towels, shower curtain and a few framed pictures of Logan covered in bubbles for the wall!
